Lerato's a rare sarcoma treatment fund
10 rounds of treatment are planned at Johannesburg Regional Medical Center; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Lerato was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in August. The oncology team at Johannesburg Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Lerato is 48, worked as a hairdresser until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Johannesburg Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $115
• Scans and lab work: $400
• Household costs while unable to work: $310
• Transport to Johannesburg Regional Medical Center: $225
