Leonid is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a teaching qualification at Kyiv University, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $350.
The registrar has said Leonid can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Leonid has a 3.8 average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Leonid would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Leonid isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Kyiv University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $350 goes:
• Textbooks and materials: $60
• Final term tuition: $260
• Exam and lab fees: $30
Every share and every dollar helps.
