Leonardo's non-Hodgkin lymphoma treatment fund
Leonardo is facing non-Hodgkin lymphoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.
Anywhere in the world390 views
Leonardo was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in March. The oncology team at Coyoacán Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Leonardo is 29, worked as a tailor until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Coyoacán Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $290
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $160
• Scans and lab work: $550

Any update on how things are going in Coyoacán?
Looking forward to the next update. My neighbor in Pune donated after I showed her your page. Take care.
Wishing you peace, Elena. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Greetings from Kano.
