Leonardo is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a law degree at Santa Fe Community College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $5,250. The registrar has said Leonardo can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Leonardo has a top-ten-percent average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Leonardo would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Leonardo isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Santa Fe Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $5,250 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $1,400 • Exam and lab fees: $210 • Final term tuition: $3,640 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure. - Brandon

Thank you. If you're in Santa Fe I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Ask me anything else.

Good luck with the exams, you've got this. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it

Stay strong, Brandon. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. God bless.
