Leo's final semester of a master's in public health in Cebu City

Leo is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a master's in public health at Cebu City University, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $500. The registrar has said Leo can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Leo has a 3.9 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Leo would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Leo isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $500 goes: • Exam and lab fees: $30 • Outstanding tuition balance: $390 • Textbooks and materials: $80 Every share and every dollar helps. - Joyce
