Lemlem's path to healing - weekly cognitive behavioral therapy in Adama
A course of weekly cognitive behavioral therapy for Lemlem could change everything; the cost is $315.
🇪🇹 Ethiopia774 views
After a car accident, Lemlem has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred her to weekly cognitive behavioral therapy, but the public waiting list is 11 months, and private sessions at the Adama Counselling Collective cost $15 each.
Lemlem has been honest with her employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Lemlem could afford. The therapist recommends 24 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference.
Asking for help with this has been the hardest part for Lemlem, and we're grateful for your kindness without judgment.
Funds cover only therapy sessions, and I'll share progress updates (not private details) if I'm comfortable.
Where the $315 goes:
• 24 therapy sessions: $270
• Psychiatric assessment: $40
• Workbook and resources: $5
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
