Legal fees for Teresa's residency renewal in Brescia
Teresa needs $1,650 for filing fees and representation in a residency renewal before the November deadline.
🇮🇹 Brescia, Lombardy, Italy564 views
Teresa is facing a residency renewal. The hearing is scheduled for November, and the filing fees and the lawyer's retainer come to $1,650. Three legal-aid offices have said their waiting lists are longer than the deadline.
Teresa has all the paperwork ready, and a caseworker at Brescia Welcome Centre has confirmed that the case is valid.
If the deadline is missed Teresa could lose the right to stay with the family and the job. The children were born here and this is the only home they know.
Funds cover only the filing fees, translations and attorney retainer.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• Attorney retainer: $1,050
• Filing and biometrics fees: $400
• Certified translations and document copies: $65
• Court-appointed interpreter and travel: $135
I hope life is good to you.

can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Brescia.
Thank you. If you're in Brescia I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great.
Wishing you peace, Tommaso. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Wish I lived closer to Adama so I could bring a meal
Take care. Shared it with a few friends. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Southampton
