A repair café workshop: a volunteer-led effort in Minneapolis
A community-led a repair café workshop at Sycamore Primary School that will serve 396 neighbors.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Sycamore Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $2,650.
It will serve about 396 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in March and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
