Lawrence's school year: uniform, books and a laptop
Help Lawrence begin the first year of senior school with a laptop, uniform and books.
🇦🇺 Townsville, Queensland, Australia1,448 views
I earned a place in the first year of senior school at Townsville Boys' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the coding course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $900, which is more than we have.
I love coding and want to become a marine biologist. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $900 goes:
• Laptop: $570
• School uniform and shoes: $170
• Textbooks and workbooks: $110
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $50
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Hope things get better soon, Lawrence. Shared this with my family. All the best.
shared this with my family. Wish I lived closer to Saint-Denis so I could bring a meal.
Hang in there. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Please keep us posted. Take care
