Lawrence needs a cold-storage unit to reopen a small grocery stall
A small grocery stall in Atlanta needs help replacing a cold-storage unit after a storm that collapsed the roof.

For three years I have run a small grocery stall in Atlanta. In August, a storm that collapsed the roof took a cold-storage unit. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $2,900 goes:
• Replacing a cold-storage unit: $1,600
• Initial stock: fresh produce: $350
• Shop repairs and licensing: $300
• Working capital for the first month: $650
Every share and every dollar helps.

Hang in there, Lawrence. Shared this with my family. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Love from Bristol.
Take care, Lawrence. Shared it with a few friends. Sent it to 31 people at work. Take care.
keep going, Lawrence. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money
