After a hip fracture that never healed properly, Nathaniel was cleared for laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Nathaniel was diagnosed with a hip fracture that never healed properly in May. The surgeon at Madina University Hospital recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and He is scheduled for August. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,400, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $1,050 short. my father has been in and out of Madina University Hospital since May. The doctors say a hip fracture that never healed properly will get worse without laparoscopic endometriosis surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,400 is more than we can find. While we wait, Nathaniel struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there. The recovery period is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Nathaniel won't be able to lift anything heavy, so the costs keep growing. I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section. Where the $1,050 goes: • Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $440 • Hospital stay (5 nights): $320 • Pre-operative tests and imaging: $65 • Post-operative medication: $60 • Physiotherapy sessions: $120 • Travel and lodging for the family: $45 Thanks for being kind about this.
