Marijke was diagnosed with a hernia that has become strangulated in August. The surgeon at Amsterdam University Hospital recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and She is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $9,000, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $6,300 short.
