Zoya was diagnosed with a torn ligament that needs reconstruction in January. The surgeon at Saint Anne Hospital recommended laparoscopic cyst removal, and She is scheduled for March. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,050, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $850 short.
my mother has been in and out of Saint Anne Hospital since January. The doctors say a torn ligament that needs reconstruction will get worse without laparoscopic cyst removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,050 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Zoya struggles with daily life and can't drive. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
