Landslide in Entebbe: help the Northside district rebuild
The landslide damaged 29 homes in the Northside district. We're raising funds for repairs, supplies and temporary shelter.

The landslide hit the Northside district on 13 September. My home was one of 29 damaged, and 14 families are still in temporary shelter at the local school gym.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $470
• Clean water and purification supplies: $55
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $135
• Food parcels for displaced families: $135
• Tools and labor for repairs: $255
Thanks for reading all this.

How is Ochieng doing now?
Thinking of you and your family. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. After 25 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Entebbe
hang in there, Ochieng. Shared this with my family.
hope things get better soon, Ochieng. Hope you get there. Take care.
Sending good thoughts, Ochieng. Hope this works out for you. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from San Cristóbal de las Casas.
