Lamia needs my delivery van repaired to get back to work in Dhaka
Lamia drives for a living in Dhaka, and a broken transmission has stopped all income for 8 weeks.

I make my living with my delivery van. 8 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $250 goes:
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $35
• Labor charges: $35
• transmission replacement (parts): $180

Stay strong, Lamia. Hope you make a strong comeback
Stay strong. Hope you make a strong comeback. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. All the best
I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. God bless
