Kulap's valve repair surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After endometriosis requiring surgery, Kulap was cleared for valve repair surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

In February I was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery. My surgeon at Bangkok University Hospital recommended valve repair surgery, and I have been placed on the schedule for May. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $3,500, and after what the government subsidy will pay, I'm still $1,750 short.
Doctors at Bangkok University Hospital told me endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without valve repair surgery. I work as a care assistant, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $3,500 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a care assistant have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
The recovery period is expected to take about 7 weeks. I'll not be able to drive during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• Post-operative medication: $95
• Hospital stay (5 nights): $450
• Physiotherapy sessions: $170
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $840
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $195
With deep gratitude,
Kulap
