Krishna's palate reconstruction surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill

Krishna was diagnosed with a torn ligament that needs reconstruction in June. The surgeon at Mumbai Community Hospital recommended palate reconstruction surgery, and He is scheduled for September. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $500, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $350 short.
my husband has been in and out of Mumbai Community Hospital since June. The doctors say a torn ligament that needs reconstruction will get worse without palate reconstruction surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Krishna struggles with daily life and can't drive. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 5 weeks. During that time Krishna won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
