Kota house fire that spread across the block relief - the Riverside district
Neighbors in the Riverside district are rebuilding after the house fire that spread across the block; every contribution goes to materials and supplies.

The house fire that spread across the block hit the Riverside district on 15 June. My home was one of 21 damaged, and 3 families are still in temporary shelter at a borrowed warehouse.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $900 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $250
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $180
• Tools and labor for repairs: $260
• Food parcels for displaced families: $210
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Prakash.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. roofing sheets and timber comes first ($250) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid.
This could happen to any of us. Please keep us posted. Thinking of Kota
Sending love, Prakash. Looking forward to the next update. My neighbor in Üsküdar donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Kota
