Konstantina's a craniotomy can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After a deviated septum causing chronic infections, Konstantina was cleared for a craniotomy, but the bill is more than we can manage.

In July I was diagnosed with a deviated septum causing chronic infections. My surgeon at Piraeus Regional Medical Center recommended a craniotomy, and I have been placed on the schedule for September. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $2,500, and after what my insurance will pay, I'm still $2,000 short.
Doctors at Piraeus Regional Medical Center told me a deviated septum causing chronic infections will get worse without a craniotomy. I work as a farm laborer, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $2,500 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a farm laborer have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 10 weeks. I'll not be able to stand for more than ten minutes during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $2,000 goes:
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $240
• Post-operative medication: $220
• Physiotherapy sessions: $220
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $1,320
Thank you so much.
