Komal's cataract surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After osteoarthritis in the right knee, Komal was cleared for cataract surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Komal was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in the right knee in August. The surgeon at Saint Elizabeth Hospital recommended cataract surgery, and She is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,600, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $950 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Saint Elizabeth Hospital since August. The doctors say osteoarthritis in the right knee will get worse without cataract surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,600 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Komal struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Komal won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
