Kofi's knee replacement surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After a herniated spinal disc, Kofi was cleared for knee replacement surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Kofi was diagnosed with a herniated spinal disc in August. The surgeon at Madina Orthopedic Institute recommended knee replacement surgery, and He is scheduled for December. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,500, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $900 short.
my father has been in and out of Madina Orthopedic Institute since August. The doctors say a herniated spinal disc will get worse without knee replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Kofi struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Kofi won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.

• Physiotherapy sessions: $115
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $60
• Travel and lodging for the family: $45
