Kittisak can't leave home - help build a ramp
Help Kittisak regain independence: a simple ramp build.
๐น๐ญ Bang Khen, Bangkok, Thailand1,293 views
Kittisak has used a wheelchair since 2024, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Kittisak can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate eight hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Kittisak's family will cook lunch for the team.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Wishing Kittisak a smooth procedure and a full recovery. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
Thanks for sharing this, Manee. I hope things turn around soon.
Wishing you the best, Manee. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My neighbor in Duque de Caxias donated after I showed her your page. Take care
