Kiprop needs a freezer and scales to reopen a fish stall
Kiprop has run a fish stall for nine years; the demolition of the market destroyed the equipment, and $400 will put it back on its feet.

For nine years I have run a fish stall in Kampala. In December, the demolition of the market took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $400 goes:
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $280
• Initial stock: the first catch: $55
• Shop repairs and licensing: $65
Thank you for reading my story.

Thinking of you and your family. This could happen to any of us. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Bang Khen.
thinking of you. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I'm in customer support myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
Sending good thoughts. Hope this works out for you. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Blessings!
Keep going, Kiprop. It takes guts to ask. Well done.
