Kieran's septoplasty can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After a benign brain tumor, Kieran was cleared for septoplasty, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Kieran was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in November. The surgeon at Dublin Orthopedic Institute recommended septoplasty, and He is scheduled for January. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $9,000, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $4,550 short.
my brother has been in and out of Dublin Orthopedic Institute since November. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without septoplasty. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $9,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Kieran struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 10 weeks. During that time Kieran won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
