Khalid needs my tuk-tuk repaired to get back to work in Lahore
Khalid drives for a living in Lahore, and a broken suspension has stopped all income for 6 weeks.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 6 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 2 children. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $200 goes:
• suspension replacement (parts): $130
• Labor charges: $25
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $45
Thank you for reading my story.

Small businesses are the heart of Lahore. Hope you're open again soon. Greetings from Atlanta.
Thanks for sharing this, Khalid. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. It's not much but it's yours.
thinking of you and your family, Khalid. Hope this works out for you. After 17 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything
