Kevin earned a place in Year 11 at Geelong International School; we are $850 short on required supplies.

I earned a place in Year 11 at Geelong International School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the coding course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $850, which is more than we have.
I love coding and want to become a software developer. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $850 goes:
• Laptop: $360
• School uniform and shoes: $185
• Textbooks and workbooks: $270
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $35
I hope life is good to you.

Updates from Kevin
Small update. $305 so far, I met with the school supplier and confirmed the amounts.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($170 in total) I met with the school supplier and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

Hope things get better soon. I hope things turn around soon. Put this on a community board in Tijuana this morning
hope it all works out, Kevin. Shared it with a few friends. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Chiang Mai.
