Keerthana lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at Mumbai General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,350. Her current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 10 weeks. With the right equipment Keerthana could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $1,350 goes: • braille note-taker: $1,250 • Fitting and training sessions: $30 • Delivery and set-up: $25 • First-year servicing plan: $45 I hope life is good to you. - Rohit
