The water account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless I pay $200. I have never been late before losing my job in August.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $25 first, which I don't have.
I live with an elderly mother, and going through the cold months without water isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Nicolás's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.

Hope things get better soon. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Zapopan
