Keep the heating on at Taslima's home in Thane
Taslima is behind on heating bills after losing my job in March and needs $150 to avoid a shut-off.

The heating account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on June unless I pay $150. I have never been late before losing my job in March.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $30 first, which I don't have.
I live with three children under ten, and going through winter without heating isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Taslima's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $150 goes:
• Heating arrears: $80
• Reconnection and late fees: $20
• Down payment on a payment plan: $50
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Wishing you peace. This could happen to any of us. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Baton Rouge.
a secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care
