The heating account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on March unless I pay $250. I have never been late before my partner leaving the household. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $15 first, which I don't have. I live with two young children, and going through summer without heating isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here. Where the $250 goes: • Gas arrears: $145 • Reconnection and late fees: $35 • Down payment on a payment plan: $70 Glad we found this place. - Precious

  • Sending strength, Precious. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. After 19 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless.

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. gas arrears comes first ($145) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Appreciate you taking the time.
