The heating account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless I pay $250. I have never been late before losing my job in July. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $35 first, which I don't have. I live with a newborn, and going through the cold months without heating isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
