Keep the heating on at Maya's home in London
Maya is behind on heating bills after losing my job in May and needs $550 to avoid a shut-off.

The heating account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on September unless I pay $550. I have never been late before losing my job in May.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $155 first, which I don't have.
I live with three children under ten, and going through summer without heating isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Maya's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $550 goes:
• Heating arrears: $360
• Reconnection and late fees: $95
• Down payment on a payment plan: $95
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Take care, Maya. Gave what I could, wish it was more. God bless
Thinking of you and your family. I hope things turn around soon. We're a small family in Aswan but we're thinking of you. All the best.
Sending strength. Shared this with my family. Don't give up. All the best.
