Keep the heating on at Maricel's home in Fresno
Help Maricel cover an overdue heating bill so the household stays safe this the rainy season.

The heating account is 3 months behind. Maricel received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless $600 is paid. She had never been late before an unexpected car repair.
Maricel called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $200 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a newborn, and going through the rainy season without heating isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
Maricel is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Maricel's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $600 goes:
• Electricity arrears: $240
• Reconnection and late fees: $125
• Down payment on a payment plan: $235
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Put this on a community board in Miami this morning.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Maricel
Sure. The biggest one is electricity arrears, $240. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks for looking so closely.
Thinking of you and your family, Ramon. This could happen to any of us. Love from Bang Khen!
Sending strength, Ramon. Shared it with a few friends
Sending strength, Ramon. It takes guts to ask. Well done. All the best.
any update on how things are going in Fresno?
Take care. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Fresno.
Can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Fresno.
Thanks for sharing this, Ramon. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. God bless.
Wishing you peace. Shared this with my family. After 10 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
thinking of you and your family, Ramon. Shared this with my family. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Jimma
Rooting for you, Ramon. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Thinking of Fresno.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of Fresno!
