The heating account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless I pay $750. I have never been late before August's medical emergency. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $90 first, which I don't have. I live with two young children, and going through the cold months without heating isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
