Keep the heating on at Ingrid's home in Freiburg
A disconnection notice for heating arrived and Ingrid needs $600 before April.

The heating account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on April unless I pay $600. I have never been late before my partner leaving the household.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $130 first, which I don't have.
I live with a disabled brother, and going through summer without heating isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.

Keep going. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home
