Keep the heating on at Galina's home in Kazan
Help Galina cover an overdue heating bill so the household stays safe this winter.

The heating account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless I pay $250. I have never been late before July's medical emergency.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $40 first, which I don't have.
I live with an elderly mother, and going through winter without heating isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $250 goes:
• Heating arrears: $100
• Reconnection and late fees: $50
• Down payment on a payment plan: $100
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
- due date
- 2026-09-18
- bill type
- Utility arrears

best of luck. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Put this on a community board in Columbus this morning.
you're not alone. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Please keep us posted. Thinking of Kazan

Thinking of you, Galina. This could happen to any of us. I have a 9 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
