Keep the heating on at Everly's home in Warren

Everly is behind on heating bills after losing my job in August and needs $750 to avoid a shut-off.

The heating account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless I pay $750. I have never been late before losing my job in August. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $160 first, which I don't have. I live with a disabled brother, and going through summer without heating isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here. Where the $750 goes: • Utility arrears: $320 • Reconnection and late fees: $145 • Down payment on a payment plan: $285 Thank you so much. - Everly
