Keep the heating on at Deepak's home in Mumbai
Deepak is behind on heating bills after May's medical emergency and needs $150 to avoid a shut-off.

The heating account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on July unless I pay $150. I have never been late before May's medical emergency.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $15 first, which I don't have.
I live with a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through the cold months without heating isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $150 goes:
• Gas arrears: $90
• Reconnection and late fees: $20
• Down payment on a payment plan: $40
