Keep the gas on at Wagner's home in Guarulhos
A disconnection notice for gas arrived and Wagner needs $150 before December.

The gas account is 3 months behind. Wagner received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless $150 is paid. He had never been late before losing my job in August.
Wagner called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $25 first, which isn't available.
The household includes an elderly mother, and going through winter without gas isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
Wagner is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Wagner's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $150 goes:
• Water arrears: $70
• Reconnection and late fees: $25
• Down payment on a payment plan: $55
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

You're not alone, Ricardo. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Please keep us posted.
Hope things get better soon. Looking forward to the next update. I'm in retail myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best
Thanks for sharing this, Ricardo. Shared this with my family. I hope December is when things finally get easier. Thinking of Guarulhos!
Hang in there, Ricardo. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Wish I lived closer to Jacksonville so I could bring a meal.
Keep going, Ricardo. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Sent it to 19 people at work.
