Hialeah

The gas account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on January unless I pay $700. I have never been late before an unexpected car repair. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $155 first, which I don't have. I live with a newborn, and going through winter without gas isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here. Where the $700 goes: • Utility arrears: $380 • Reconnection and late fees: $80 • Down payment on a payment plan: $240 With deep gratitude, Nuria
