Keep the gas on at Muhammad's home in Jakarta Selatan

Muhammad is behind on gas bills after a reduction in hours and needs $100 to avoid a shut-off.

The gas account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless I pay $100. I have never been late before a reduction in hours. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $30 first, which I don't have. I live with a newborn, and going through the cold months without gas isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here. Where the $100 goes: • Utility arrears: $75 • Reconnection and late fees: $20 • Down payment on a payment plan: $5 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people. - Muhammad
