The gas account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless I pay $650. I have never been late before August's medical emergency. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $125 first, which I don't have. I live with an elderly mother, and going through winter without gas isn't safe.
