Keep the electricity on at Shima's home in Kochi
A disconnection notice for electricity arrived and Shima needs $100 before May.

The electricity account is 3 months behind. Shima received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on May unless $100 is paid. She had never been late before February's medical emergency.
Shima called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $25 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through summer without electricity isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
Shima is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.

• Water arrears: $45
• Reconnection and late fees: $15
• Down payment on a payment plan: $40

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Shima.
Sure. The biggest one is water arrears, $45. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. It helps to be asked.
