Keep the electricity on at Sari's home in Jakarta Barat
A disconnection notice for electricity arrived and Sari needs $150 before November.

The electricity account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless I pay $150. I have never been late before losing my job in August.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $15 first, which I don't have.
I live with an elderly mother, and going through the cold months without electricity isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $150 goes:
• Utility arrears: $90
• Reconnection and late fees: $30
• Down payment on a payment plan: $30
Every share and every dollar helps.

Good luck, Sari. This could happen to any of us.
Wishing you peace, Sari. Hope this works out for you. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. God bless.
Hope things get better soon. Looking forward to the next update. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Love from Toronto.
Praying for you, Sari. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Put this on a community board in Rockford this morning.
A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Sent it to 31 people at work. Love from Brest
