Keep the electricity on at Julián's home in Mérida
Julián is behind on electricity bills after a reduction in hours and needs $300 to avoid a shut-off.

The electricity account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on April unless I pay $300. I have never been late before a reduction in hours.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $55 first, which I don't have.
I live with a disabled brother, and going through the cold months without electricity isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
