Keep the electricity and water on at Serge's home in Saint-Denis
Help Serge cover an overdue electricity and water bill so the household stays safe this winter.

The electricity and water account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on September unless I pay $550. I have never been late before an unexpected car repair.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $65 first, which I don't have.
I live with a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through winter without electricity and water isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $550 goes:
• Water arrears: $240
• Reconnection and late fees: $80
• Down payment on a payment plan: $230
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

- 2026-10-19
- bill type
- Utility arrears

Wishing you peace. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My neighbor in Stellenbosch donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Saint-Denis.
sending love, Serge. Shared this with my family
Thinking of you, Serge. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
