Elena is behind on electricity and water bills after my partner leaving the household and needs $550 to avoid a shut-off.

The electricity and water account is 2 months behind. Elena received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless $550 is paid. She had never been late before my partner leaving the household.
Elena called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $80 first, which isn't available.
The household includes an elderly mother, and going through winter without electricity and water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Elena is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Elena's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
