Keep the electricity and water on at Domenico's home in Rome
Help Domenico cover an overdue electricity and water bill so the household stays safe this the rainy season.

The electricity and water account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on July unless I pay $600. I have never been late before an unexpected car repair.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $110 first, which I don't have.
I live with an elderly mother, and going through the rainy season without electricity and water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $600 goes:
• Water arrears: $270
• Reconnection and late fees: $90
• Down payment on a payment plan: $240
Thanks for being kind about this.

Stay strong. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. It's not much but it's yours. Love from Palmira.
Sending strength. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Thinking of Rome
