Following a long illness in the family, I fell 5 months behind on rent. Last Monday a termination letter was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $3,700.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by October, we must leave.
I have a teenager still in school at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. rent arrears (5 months) comes first ($2,750) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. I'll keep the page updated.
