Keep a roof over Wyatt's head in Buffalo
After a cut in working hours, Wyatt is 2 months behind on rent and has a termination letter from the landlord.

When my hours were cut in half in July, I fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Saturday a termination letter was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $1,200.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by November, we must leave.
I've 4 children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working evenings as a cleaner, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $1,200 goes:
• Utilities in arrears: $145
• Late fees and court costs: $320
• First month of rent as a buffer: $735
Glad we found this place.

Wishing you peace. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Sent it to 30 people at work. Love from Newcastle upon Tyne
Can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Buffalo!
shared this with my family. I hope November is when things finally get easier.
Sending love, Wyatt. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Buffalo.
Thinking of you, Wyatt. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. All the best.
Thanks for sharing this, Wyatt. Gave what I could, wish it was more. God bless.
gave what I could, wish it was more. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Buffalo
